Banvit Basketbol Kulübü (English: ''Banvit Basketball Club''), also known simply as Banvit, is a Turkish basketball team from Bandırma, Turkey. The team is owned and sponsored by the Banvit Company. The team began playing in the lower divisions of Turkish basketball league systems for 1994 season with amateur players. The team became professional in 1998 and the team played in EBBL for 1998 to 2001. In 2001 season, the team promoted to TB2L and played there until 2004. In 2004, the team promoted to TBL as a champion. Banvit played successful seasons in TBL since the team promoted. The team played FIBA EuroCup Challenge in their first TBL season and reached to semi-final. The team reached to semi-final in TBL five times and reached to final in Turkish Cup Basketball two times, but never won these competitions. In 2012–13 season of TBL, the team beat Beşiktaş in quarter-final series and beat Anadolu Efes in semi-final series of playoffs and reached to final. In final series, Banvit lost against Galatasaray Medical Park 4–1. For next season, Banvit qualified for the Qualifying Round of Euroleague. But they lost against Telenet Oostende in semi-final and eliminated in Euroleage QR, dropped to Eurocup. Banvit is considered to have one of the best youth teams in Turkey and have notable youth program. Players like İzzet Türkyılmaz, Şafak Edge, Tolga Geçim and İbrahim Yıldırım were developed in Banvit's youth teams. Banvit also has a reserve team that plays in TB2L under the name of Bandırma Kırmızı.
